Exquisite Wulfenite Specimen - A Gem from the Legendary Erupción Mine, Mexico

Unearth a piece of mineral history with this vibrant Wulfenite specimen, meticulously sourced from the renowned Erupción Mine in Los Lamentos, Chihuahua, Mexico. (Mine name Interchangeable with the Ahumada Mine) This captivating mineral showcases Wulfenite's classic tetragonal crystal habit, often presenting as lustrous, tabular crystals with a striking orange to reddish-orange hue. Its distinct adamantine to resinous luster makes it a standout addition to any mineral collection.

The Erupción Mine, nestled in the Sierra de Los Lamentos ("Mountains of Lamentations," named for the eerie sounds the wind makes through its cracks), is celebrated worldwide for producing some of the most iconic Wulfenite crystals. These specimens are particularly prized for their "butterscotch" or "caramel" appearance, often displaying a unique combination of lighter opaque layers and glassy, deep orange interiors. For decades, particularly from the late 1960s through the early 1980s, this mine was a prolific source of these distinctively chunky, blocky Wulfenite crystals

**Note** These specimens are very fragile, and may possibly  lose a blade during shipping. They will be packaged extra carefully
