Hackmanite (Soadalite var. Hackmanite) w/ Mica

Experience the wonder of Hackmanite from Afghanistan. This rare specimen is naturally tenebrescent, meaning it temporarily gets darker when exposed to sunlight or UV lights. Let its unique properties inspire awe and captivate your senses. Remove from the light, and the colors will return to their basic color once again!

Under Longwave UV, you will the Hackmanite fluoresce orange. Under Shortwave UV, the matrix has a slight green glow. The purple hackmanite crystal turns deep purple under longwave UV and will eventually turn back to its natural color once removed from the light.

The mica species is now, but looks similar to Phlogopite however it was not tested so species of mica is unknown.
