Mountain Jasper Horse Head Carving

This is a substantial Mountain Jasper Horse Head Carving, shaped into a horse's head with a really nice, flowing mane. Standing over 7 inches tall, it has some serious presence.

The patterns in this stone are fantastic, full of rich, earthy browns and bands of deep black that swirl throughout the carving. It looks to have a light finish on it which really makes those colors and the stone's natural luster pop. The photo and video make the stone appear a little orange in color, but note that the carving is actually more brown than orange.
