Russian rainbow pyrite is a type of pyrite mineral that exhibits a unique iridescent coloration, giving it the appearance of a rainbow. This mineral is composed of iron and sulfur, and is typically found in sedimentary rocks, hydrothermal veins, and metamorphic rocks.
Large gray spherical concretion with one side exposed to reveal the internal shrinkage fractures that are lined with iridescent Pyrite microcrystals. Commonly sold as Rainbow Pyrite because of the iridescence that ranges is orange, yellow, blue, green.
